About Nonna

"Nonna" in Italian means Grandma

Born in Cuernavaca, Mexico, Vilma was raised by Italian born parents. In the early 80's she married a red-headed New Yorker and moved to the United States where she raised her 4 children. With over 50 years cooking and baking, she loves to be in the kitchen and bring people together over food. 

Currently living in Georgia and having achieved "Nonna" status hanging with her 2 grandkids, she's recently been experimenting and learning a lot about dairy-free, gluten-free, paleo, and AIP baked goods. This creative challenge was inspired by a couple family members who have health issues and are learning to enjoy food with restricted diets. There are so many ways to make food delicious using a variety of flours and creative ingredients!
